Name signage for Norma

Did this yesterday for Norma for her birthday tomorrow. Hope she likes it.

Apples from Gran's Attic. Tried painting these apples and finished it 2 weeks ago but had no time to download it. Didn't turn out so good and will have to practise more. Next will try the grapes, pears and other fruits.

Room signage for my god-daughter

Painted this room signage for my god-daughter Melanie. Painted the daisies yellow but it didn't stand out with the beige background so added some cadmium orange to the yellow and did some sponging on the background to make it looked aged and painted the edge with rich gold. Hope she will like it.

Painted these lemons from Ros Stallcup's book, Gran's Attic. Although not nice but for first try I think it looks ok. Could not get the leaves right so tried another way. Hopefully will try to paint more after this one.

Hi dear friends, so sorry for not updating my blog for quite sometime now as I am busy sewing curtains for my cousin. Didn't have time to do any decoupage or paintings. Hope to finish the curtains soon as I will be going to Singapore this Friday for my nieces' engagement. Hopefully after completing the curtains, I will have time to start decoupage/painting again. Until then....

Another painting for a church member in Port Klang.

I started taking lessons last year with Aniza on Sundays in Bukit Rimau but had to stop for a while, but hoping to resume classes again. So far have done only 4 items with Aniza, 1st- a daisy welcome signage, 2nd - a lace work, 3rd (still not varnished yet) a sunflower hand and wash lazy susan and the 4th one is a hydrangeas signage where only the leaves were painted and then I stop class for a while.....but it has been 6 months now. When will I go for classes again/ argh.........hopefully soon. Here are some of the pictures.

This is my latest decoupage project, a class signage for my daughter to beautify her class. Hope her cikgu liked it.

First painting from the bengkel

Hi, this is my first post, and will post some photos of the folk art items that I've done over these 2 years. I started this folk art craze in 2008 when I went for the Impiana Magazine's Bengkel sehari "Indahnya Folkart" with Aniza, Norana and Zaitun.
